There is nothing nicer than warm flannel sheets on a chilly autumn's morning. Sometimes it can be very difficult to get out of bed and get dressed for school. The solution to that problem is to have snuggly clothes all picked out and laid across the radiator. Bethany is all set for tomorrow morning because she is going to wear her "Cozy Calico" outfit. It is made of soft, warm flannel, and is just as wonderfully snuggly as her sheets!
Bethany's girly-twirly dress is made of two lovely cotton flannel calicos. The full skirt is pieced of alternating strips of rosebuds and dainty stripes. It has a ruffle at the bottom, and is accented with vintage scalloped trim. The waistline of the bodice is trimmed in a delicate vintage lace, and is embroidered with silk ribbon roses.
Bethany's blouse is made of a heavy flannel in a pretty shade of cream. It has an empire waist, and a peter-pan collar with an antique mother of pearl button at the center. The collar, sleeves and waistline are embroidered with lovely clusters of silk ribbon roses. The hem is edged in yet another variety of vintage lace with interwoven silk ribbon in a dusty rose. Matching cotton/lycra tights will keep her legs warm.
For very nippy days, Bethany can wear her warm ruffled pants. They are made from a sweet rosebud printed yellow flannel and are trimmed with scalloped lace and silk ribbon.
Cute pink felt clogs match the outfit perfectly. They feature leather soles, and are edged with lace and embroidered with silk roses. Her muffin hat is trimmed with vintage lace and features a large silk ribbon rose. Her calico scrunchie bow has a lace and rose accent in the center. A kitty friend (who isn't calico) is included.
You are bidding on the outfit only - my dear Bethany is not included. This outfit was made by me, CarlaC, in my cozy, smoke-free home. Please feel free to email me with any questions or comments. Thank you :) !
