Choosing the perfect poinsettia plant is almost as important as selecting a Christmas tree.  Nowadays, poinsettias come in an array of colors - pink, ivory, and even spotted!  Of all these opitions, Bethany's favorite is most certainly the beautiful velvety red of the traditional poinsettia.  The lovely bloom on her dress shows off her preference.

Bethany's dress has a black velveteen bodice that is embroidered with a silk ribbon poinsettia.  The center of the poinsettia is accented with golden seed beads.  Her balloon sleeves and flouncy skirt are made of red and green plain homespun fabric.  Encased within the skirt is a bit of tulle for extra poof.  The skirt is gathered at points along the bottom and accented with silk ribbon bows and golden jingle bells.

Bethany's beret is made of black velvet, and is trimmed with a homespun band cut on the bias for a bit of stretch.  Warm black tights are also included.
